The Extra 300 was a development of the Extra 230 and has seen much success since it was introduced in the early 1990’s. A tubular space frame fuselage was paired with a wing constructed of composite panels and a high strength carbon wing spar. The power plant was a fuel injected Lycoming 300hp flat 6 cylinder giving this lightweight airframe some real grunt.
